So that we can help all our patients comfortably and on time, we apply a few house rules in our practice. Below you can read what you may expect from us and what we ask of you.
General
Welcome to Tandarts Utrecht Centrum. In our practice we aim for a high standard of dentistry. Our team consists of dentists, specialists, a dental hygienist and prevention assistants.
The care in our practice is comprehensive: from restorative and aesthetic dentistry to endodontics and implantology. For a specific treatment you may be referred internally to a colleague within the practice. See all our treatments.
Making appointments
After a visit to the dentist or a specialist, please make your follow-up appointment at reception straight away. If that isn't possible, you can also schedule a new appointment by phone during our opening hours.

Keeping and cancelling appointments
We reserve time for your appointment. We therefore ask you to arrive on time and to cancel or reschedule an appointment at least 24 hours in advance. You can do this by phone, by email or via our voicemail. A cancellation sent by email or voicemail at least 24 hours in advance counts as officially cancelled — even if you have not yet received confirmation from us.
We understand that on occasion cancelling in time simply isn't possible. That is why we do not charge for the first time. If an appointment is cancelled late or missed a second time, we are obliged to charge for the reserved treatment time. This keeps that time available for other patients.
Your invoice and payment
We prefer to spend our time on your dental care rather than on administration. That is why we have outsourced the sending and collection of invoices to Infomedics. You will therefore receive your invoice from Infomedics and not from the practice itself.
A payment term of 30 days applies to your invoice. This term is binding: if payment or a response is outstanding for too long, Infomedics may start a collection procedure. Please pass your change of address on to our practice, to your health insurer and to Infomedics. This prevents unnecessary interest and collection costs.
Checking in at reception
On arrival, please always check in at reception. Our staff will let your practitioner know that you have arrived, so that you are seen on time.
Calm and privacy in the practice
In the waiting room and treatment rooms we ask you to keep phone use to a minimum. If you need to make a call, we kindly ask you to do so outside the practice.
Please only take photos, video or audio recordings after discussing it with your practitioner. There are always other patients and staff present in our practice, and we want to protect their privacy just as much as yours. We hope for your understanding.
Smoking is not permitted in the practice. Unfortunately pets cannot be brought inside; assistance dogs are of course welcome.
Liability
Tandarts Utrecht Centrum is not liable for damage to, theft of or loss of your belongings. We therefore advise you not to leave your possessions unattended.
Complaints and suggestions
We do our utmost to treat you to your satisfaction. If you do have a complaint, please let us know — preferably first with your practitioner or at reception. We will do our very best to resolve your complaint together with you.
We also like to hear from you when you are satisfied. We are always open to suggestions, ideas and comments following a treatment or on any other matter. You can reach us via the contact page.
