The periodic check-up is the foundation of our care. The dentist examines your teeth, molars, gums, fillings and crowns, and takes an X-ray or 3D scan when needed. Cavities, wear and small fractures are caught early, so any treatment can stay small and simple. For most adults a six-monthly check-up is enough; for higher-risk patients we work on a shorter rhythm.
The dental hygienist handles the professional cleaning. They remove tartar and stubborn build-up above and below the gum line, polish the teeth, and give you practical advice on brushing, interdental brushes and flossing that fits your mouth. For patients with implants or fixed appliances we use adapted cleaning protocols.
Gum inflammation and periodontology. Bleeding or swollen gums are rarely normal. Early-stage gum inflammation (gingivitis) usually clears up quickly with proper cleaning and advice. For deeper, long-standing inflammation (periodontitis) we clean the root surfaces below the gum line with specialised instruments. Early diagnosis prevents tooth and bone loss, so don't postpone reporting symptoms.
Fluoride and sealants. For children, teenagers and patients with elevated caries risk we apply fluoride varnish and sealants alongside regular preventive care, to give the smooth surfaces and chewing surfaces of teeth extra protection.
General dentistry. Our practice covers all regular dental care under one roof: from check-ups, advice and cleaning to follow-up of e.g. fillings, and habits that strain the teeth such as diet, smoking and teeth grinding.
